Will the fog cause smoke detectors to operate?
- Yes, smoke detectors will be triggered, however, we notify the fire brigade upon installation
- Due to the low temperature fog, it will not activate sprinklers or head detectors
- We recommend discuss with premise fire engineer before installing to a large company building
Does the release of fog leave any damage?
No it leaves some fine dust which is easily cleaned up
What should we do if the fog is released?
- If you are on site, leave the premises immediately and the fog may take 35-40 minutes to settle.
- If you are offsite, we recommend sending a security patrol to investigate before attending a potentially unsafe situation if a break-in has occurred
- After firing, the cartridges will be replaced by a trained CPM professional
What if it goes off without cause?
Fog will only be released if the alarm system instructs the CPM to release the fog, or if the double poll panic input is activated.
How much are the replacement cartridges?
As of March 2024, RRP of replacement cartridge is $189.00 ex. GST.
How hot is the fog, will you get burned if you are close to the cartridge?
- CPM is a low temperature technology and will not burn you
- Cartridges get hot, however, it is completely contained within the CPM chassis
What is inside the cartridge? is it dangerous?
- Food grade powder that efficiently burns
- It is non-toxic
Is it toxic to food and animals?
No. It is food safe and animal safe as it is made of a natural food-grade powder and will not harm animals or make food toxic
Can we connect it to an existing security system?
Definitely! We wire in our system to your security system in order to be integrated as one unit
Can this system reduce my insurance premium?
YES!
Our system is recognised by insurance companies in Australia as an effective intruder defence mechanism. It is accepted as a legal form of product asset protection. Please contact us for further information on how we can reduce this.
How much can it reduce my insurance premium by?

Do I need to tell people the system is in place?
No, this is an integrated part into your security system, however, if you would like to indicate that you have our product, we can provide you with the following:
- Warning stickers – place stickers in prominent entry locations so they can be seen from outside premises
- Alarm panel stickers to warn technicians that the CPM is installed and needs to be isolated
- Contact us if you need more stickers
Do I need to let authorites know I have the system in place?
- Local fire brigade/authorities should know that there is an enforcer system installed
- Let them know if you are going to run a live test or demonstrate the system. Seek advice on isolating fire systems
- We can also communicate with them on your behalf
Are the police aware of a system like this?
- Yes! The police force highly reccomend this product and it is a widely recognised support system in crime prevention
- It is accepted as a legal form of product and asset protection
Can I install the system myself?
The short answer is now. However, if you have your own installer and would like them to install the system, we will provide a training course which they MUST complete in order to wire in the system.
